Home Watching

Home watching is a professional service where trained individuals perform regular, scheduled inspections of your home while you are away. These visits ensure your property remains safe, secure, and well-maintained during your absence, whether you are on
vacation, a seasonal resident, or away for business reasons.

Our home watching involves us doing complete inspection of your home to make sure that there is no break-ins, damage, pest infestation, burst pipes, adequate temperature control, etc.

Interior inspections

  • Operate all faucets, flush toilets, garbage disposals, run dishwasher rinse cycle, and check for visible leaks in plumbing
  • Make sure that all appropriate cabinet doors are open to prevent frozen pipes, depending on season
  • Visually check for leaks, mold, or water damage in ceilings, walls, under sinks, and around appliances
  • Check furnace to ensure proper operation and correct holding temperature
  • Ensure all electrical items are functioning properly by operating all major appliances, breaker boxes, and flipping accessible light and fan switches
  • Examine all doors and windows to ensure they are locked and secure
  • Check for visible pest infestations
  • Check to make sure that appliances are functioning properly
  • Investigate any alarms, strange noises, or odors
  • Check and report on overall interior cleanliness
  • Mail and Package collection
  • Resetting clocks or thermostats, as needed
  • Storm preparation or post-storm checks
  • Custom tasks upon request (plant watering, vehicle checks, etc)

Exterior inspections

  • Examine property for any signs of forced entry, vandalism, broken items, or general decay and/or disrepair
  • Visual inspection of roof, gutters, decks, and patios
  • Check screens for damage
  • Collect newspapers, flyers, and packages from in front of house and deposit them inside
  • Visual inspection for exterior pest infestations
  • Report on landscape maintenance
  • Check for evidence of any storm damage
  • Check exterior faucets for leaks or damage

How much does it cost?

Partial Package: (Exterior Only)
Every Other Week: $100 per Month
Weekly: $175 per Month
Full Package: (Interior and Exterior)
Every Other Week: $150 per Month
Weekly: $275 per Month
One Time and Storm Damage Checks:
$50 and up
